Hi! I’m Tina Tongen. I love to help people reconnect with embodied health to relieve stress and anxiety!

I’m a licensed massage therapist with an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies, Master Practitioner in Phenomenal Touch Massage, certified yoga and dance teacher with experience in Soul Sweat, 5 Rhythms, Authentic Movement, meditation coach with 6 years of embodied meditation practice with the Ridhwan School (aka Diamond Heart), and authentic relating coach with training in Authentic Relating with ART International, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), et al.

I offer sessions of Tongen Touch™ Massage Therapy with Yoga, and Embodied Health Coaching in Tallahassee, Florida; seasonally in Boulder and Denver, Colorado, and year-round online.

Tina is amazing!! Her technical skills are off the chart. She is unbelievable at relieving muscular tension and soreness. But perhaps more importantly, she is profoundly intuitive. She observes how your body reacts to each movement, and then focuses in on areas that you might not even have known were a problem. I regained a range of motion in my neck and back that I had not even realized that I had lost. And throughout, her approach is very spiritual and empathetic. I really can’t say enough how impressed I am with Tina. I purchased the 5 90 min massage plan after my first visit. This is not a regular massage. It is an experience. I am so happy that Tina moved back to Tallahassee. She has so much knowledge & passion for massage therapy! Her many years of experience and continued love to learn is evident through her healing touch. I have neck, back & hip pain that have been aggravating me for years. Tina is a therapist unlike other that I’ve experienced. She used many modalities all in one appt so it was very comprehensive. There was some traditional “rubbing” like you get in a typical massage but she also moved my body in different ways like swiveling my neck around, and she also got onto the massage table and used her knees and feet on my legs and glutes. She was able to change pressures easily based on what I asked for. It was great. Thanks Tina!

This was my first therapy session and it was a wonderful first experience for me. Tina made me feel comfortable, she took time before the session to explain how it works and what to expect. She has a very calming voice and her massaging technique is very good. She was able to sooth out the tight muscles in my back and it relieved a lot of the stress I had. Tina was a great massage therapist and Im happy I chose her for when getting my first massage 😊

Tina is great! The massage I got was so amazing and I felt super relaxed after. Not only was the stress relief great, but she did awesome at soothing my tight muscles. I didn’t know how much I needed a massage until I was laying on that table. If you’re in the Tallahassee area looking for a masseuse, Tina is the person to go to!!
